September 28, 2022Aim Higher Alumnus Shares Gratitude at Night of Light
December 2, 2022Welcome Camille Kiolbasa!
The Aim Higher Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Camille Kiolbasa as Associate Director of Advancement beginning September 28, 2022.
“We are thrilled that Camille will be joining our effort to help more children access the lasting benefits of a Catholic education,” said Ricky Austin, president of the Aim Higher Foundation. “Camille has a proven track record of creating and leading successful fundraising initiatives to strengthen the impact and reach of the organizations she has served. I’m thrilled to call her part of the Aim Higher team.”
In the new role, Kiolbasa will support the advancement efforts of the Aim Higher Foundation and assist in the leadership of marketing and communications projects. She will work closely with staff and volunteers to identify, research, cultivate, and steward donors and prospects, as well as lead grant writing initiatives. Since 2012, the Aim Higher Foundation has awarded more than 14,000 scholarships worth more than $12 million. Still, more children could benefit from Aim Higher Scholarships.
“Love is at the foundation of Catholic education, and it is the transformational power of that love that drew me to the Aim Higher Foundation,” said Kiolbasa. “Catholic schools approach each child as a unique and unrepeatable gift. It’s why they go ‘all out’ for every single child. And it’s why I’m eager to help this mission grow.”
“I can’t wait to interview these kids 10 years from now,” she continued. “The true impact of the Aim Higher Foundation is that it grows over time. Today’s scholars are tomorrow’s leaders, and I’m excited to help invest in them today.”
Kiolbasa has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Minnesota—Minneapolis. She worked for nine years in a marketing and communications position with Piper Jaffray Companies. In 2012, she became St. Croix Catholic School‘s first Development Director. Most recently, Kiolbasa served as Director of Development and Marketing at Dunrovin Retreat Center, a natural oasis on the banks of the Saint Croix River.
She and her husband have been married for 30 years and have three adult children and a baby grandson.
