The Aim Higher Foundation is pleased to announce the election of four new members to the foundation’s Board of Directors: Jane McDonald Black, Steve Lucke, Elizabeth Nientimp, and Greg Schumacher. The new directors begin their three-year term on January 1, 2025. President Ricky Austin shares, “This exceptional group of individuals brings valuable expertise and perspective that will continue to drive meaningful impact and growth for the Aim Higher Foundation.”
Jane McDonald Black is the Executive Director of the JAB Foundation and a member of the Minnesota Hunt Institute Path Forward Literacy Team. She is deeply engaged in initiatives to address Minnesota’s literacy crisis, educational equity, and student success. Read Jane’s bio.
Steve Lucke is a retired attorney and mediator who now serves as a Neutral with JAMS (Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services), as well as an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Read Steve’s bio.
Since 2018, Elizabeth Nientimp has served as the Director of Enterprise Editorial at Target, leading executive teams in developing strategies that drive innovation and growth. Prior to Target, she spent 17 years at General Mills. Read Elizabeth’s bio.
Greg Schumacher is a Partner at Granite Partners. He leads the firm’s recruiting efforts by building talent strategies, fostering collaboration, and expanding access to diverse talent. Greg previously founded and managed Schumacher Executive Search. Read Greg’s bio.
The Aim Higher Foundation’s Board of Directors brings together community leaders with a passion for Catholic education and our mission. Directors offer experiences in the fields of board governance, financial management, law, consulting, school administration, teaching, non-profit development, and more. In the coming weeks, we will share more about each of our new four Directors, as well as formally introduce four new committee members, Thomas Hodgdon, Andrea Urzua, Brian Warpinski, and Dan Weiler, who will be contributing to the work of the Board’s Scholarship, Development, Finance, and Governance Committees.
