The Aim Higher Foundation proudly welcomes Brent Frederick to its board of directors. With a remarkable career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry, Brent has played a vital role in the success of various Twin Cities restaurants. From being a server and bartender during his University of Minnesota days to now serving as the Chief Manager of Jester Concepts, Brent’s career path showcases his enduring dedication to excellence in the worlds of food, drinks, style, and service. His expertise extends beyond financial management, encompassing pivotal roles in design, brand development, and charitable initiatives.
Brent Frederick demonstrates a significant history of philanthropy, serving as a Founding Board Member for Provision Community Restaurant from February 2018 to January 2022. In this capacity, he actively contributed to creative, community-based solutions addressing food insecurity. Additionally, Brent served a four-year tenure as a Member of the Board of Directors for Hospitality Minnesota from January 2019 to January 2023, advocating for the hospitality industry with a focus on education, legislative advocacy, and public awareness. Currently, he continues to make a meaningful impact as a Member of the Board of Directors for M Health Fairview Philanthropic Board since April 2022.

The Aim Higher Foundation is dedicated to providing student-based tuition assistance scholarships, enabling more children in the twelve-county Twin Cities metro area to experience the transformative benefits of a Catholic education. Since 2012, the foundation has awarded over 16,000 scholarships, totaling more than $15 million, to students in K-8 Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
