Retired President for DeLaSalle High School
At the time of his July 2020 retirement as President for DeLaSalle High School, Barry Lieske AFSC was the longest-tenured employee in the school’s 120-year history. Prior to accepting the role of President in 2012, Lieske served as Principal for 19 years. Previously, he served as Dean of Students, Director of Guidance Counseling, and Athletic Director, as well as a successful varsity coach of two athletic programs and a longtime Student Council moderator. Lieske remains active in Catholic education beyond the Aim Higher Foundation, serving on the Holy Family Catholic High School and Ascension Academy school boards and as a Lay consultant with the Christian Brothers of the Midwest.
