Barry Lieske

Retired President for DeLaSalle High School

At the time of his July 2020 retirement as President for DeLaSalle High School, Barry was the longest-tenured employee in the school’s 120-year history. Prior to accepting the role of President in 2012, Barry served as Principal for 19 years. Previously, he served as Dean of Students, Director of Guidance Counseling, and Athletic Director, as well as a successful varsity coach of two athletic programs and a longtime Student Council moderator. Barry remains active in Catholic education beyond the Aim Higher Foundation, serving on the Holy Family Catholic High School and Ascension Academy school boards and as a Lay consultant with the Christian Brothers of the Midwest.
