Aida Higuerey Schaefer
Owner and Chief Executive Officer for Incentive Development Corporation
Aida Higuerey Schaefer is the owner and CEO of Incentive Development Corporation as well as CEO and co-founder of TadpoleGiant LLC. Previously, Aida dedicated her time as a financial strategist to Best Buy and to Northwest Airlines. Aida has served in the non-profit sector for over 20 years both at the Board level and as a volunteer at DARTS (a local non-profit serving seniors and adults with disabilities), the local chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (now HACE), a troop leader for Girl Scouts, an educator and advocate for Latina Girl Scouts and as a Finance Committee Member for Faithful Shepherd Catholic School. She is currently a Planning Commissioner for the City of Inver Grove Heights. Having grown up in Venezuela, New York and France, Aida is trilingual, respects diverse perspectives and is guided by the values-based and spiritually enriching education she received at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic school in New York. She has a BA in International Relations with a minor in French from Tufts and an MBA from Yale with a concentration in Finance. A lifelong learner, she has also completed the CFA designation and a fellowship with the National Hispana Leadership Institute. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve her local community in support of Catholic education. Aida, her husband and children have all benefitted from Catholic education. Her oldest son is currently a third generation Tommie (following his dad’s and grandad’s footsteps) at UST. Aida is passionate about the mission of the Aim Higher Foundation and the value of Catholic education, with a personal understanding of the life changing benefits of that education.
