Fr. John L. Ubel

A native of St. Paul, Fr. John Ubel was ordained a priest in 1989. He has served as
Rector of the Cathedral of Saint Paul since 2012. As a product of Catholic
schools, from kindergarten through seminary and graduate studies, he has
benefitted enormously from the selfless example of excellent and dedicated
teachers and professors. Later, as both a teacher and Catholic School
Administrator, he developed an even stronger passion for the mission of Catholic
schools, and their ability to form young disciples of Jesus Christ. Believing that
truth, beauty and goodness draw people together, Fr. Ubel passionately believes
that maintaining a vibrant Archdiocesan Catholic school system is essential for
forming leaders for the future of our local Church.
