Jerry Morris brings deep legal, financial, and governance expertise to the Aim Higher Foundation Board. He retired from General Mills as Vice President – Chief Tax Officer & Principal Tax Counsel, following an accomplished career that also included serving as tax counsel at 3M. Jerry earned a B.A. in Humanities and Economics from St. John’s University and a Juris Doctorate with a tax focus from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. His professional background reflects a strong commitment to thoughtful stewardship, strategic leadership, and sound financial oversight.
A dedicated advocate for Catholic and faith-based education, Jerry has held numerous leadership roles within schools, parishes, and higher education institutions. His service includes Chair of the Board of Directors at Nativity of Mary School in Bloomington, Board Chair at Academy of Holy Angels, and member of the Parish Finance Council at St. John the Baptist in Savage. Jerry also serves on the Leadership Advisory Council at St. John’s University, continuing his long standing support of education and community leadership.
