Nestor Jaramillo

Nestor Jaramillo brings extensive executive leadership and global healthcare experience to the Aim Higher Foundation Board. He retired as President and CEO of Nuwellis Inc. and Innerspace Neuro Solutions, following a 23-year career at Medtronic where he held a variety of senior leadership roles. Nestor earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. His professional career reflects a commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and mission-driven leadership.

Deeply committed to service and philanthropy, Nestor has devoted significant time to organizations that support faith, health, education, and vulnerable children. He serves as a member of Children’s Minnesota Governance Board and is the current Chairman of Children’s MN Health Care Foundation. He served on the Finance Committee of the Basilica of Saint Mary Landmark Foundation and spent ten years on the board of NPH, a nonprofit supporting abandoned and disadvantaged children in Latin America, including two years as Board Chairman. His service reflects a strong dedication to stewardship, compassion, and long-term impact.
