Marian Whitaker

As Ricky’s temporary Executive Assistant, Marian Whitaker is facilitating the transition and evolution of Aim Higher’s administrative role. Prior to joining the Aim Higher Foundation team, she has over 7 years’ experience in taking on transitory administrative positions at organizations experiencing growth and change. She has worked at nonprofits in both California and Minnesota, as well as big names like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Disney. She has a passion for outdoor education and previously worked at Free Spirit Publishing, which focuses on creating social-emotional learning books for educators and their students.

In addition to administrative work, Marian loves to travel and write. She holds a Master’s in Screenwriting from UCLA and a BA in Creative Writing & Classical Civilizations from Beloit College.
