Jane McDonald Black
Executive Director for JAB Foundation
Jane McDonald Black is the Executive Director of the JAB Foundation and a member of the Minnesota Hunt Institute Path Forward Literacy Team. She is deeply engaged in initiatives to address Minnesota’s literacy crisis and improve reading proficiency. Jane serves on several Boards, such as Ed Allies MN, Dougherty Family College, Great Minnesota Schools, and the Northside Achievement Zone, organizations dedicated to advancing educational equity and fostering student success. A former board chair for Catholic Charities, she has also served on the boards of the BARR Center, St. Alphonsus School, Good Shepherd School, and Benilde-St. Margaret’s. Jane holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, earned in 2019.
