Margaret Hank Requet

Teacher and Philanthropist

Margaret Hank Requet taught elementary school for eight years before choosing to stay home to raise her children and focus on volunteering for many academic and community organizations important to her family. She has been a long-time board member of the Advisory Board for the Alliance for Catholic Education at the University of Notre Dame. She is also currently a member of the Advisory Council and Development Committee for Notre Dame Academy in Minnetonka, as well the Capital Campaign Cabinet for Holy Family Catholic High School.

Margaret has been a member of the Advisory Councils for Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School and the Eden Prairie Early Childhood/ Family Education Program. She has given extensively of her time to chair many fundraising efforts for Holy Family Catholic High School, the Eden Prairie Football Association, and Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School. At Immaculate Heart of Mary, she has also served as Chair of Policies and Procedures, Education Liaison, committee member for the Capital Campaign, and Coordinator for the Junior High Musical.

Margaret graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1985 with
a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in the Arts and Letters Program for Administrators. In 1988, she received her Masters of Education from the University of Illinois. She and her husband, Ed, live in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and have three children, (Matthew, University of Notre Dame ’18; Eric, University of Notre Dame ’20 & ’24; and Claire, Butler University ’22).
